Mic Access Setup

Activating microphone for mMR

Here's a how-to article to activate your microphone on your MacBook. If you have any questions or issues with setup, please feel free to contact mMR Support or email the Help Desk at [email protected].

Instructions

  1. Open Google Chrome

  2. Visit the website https://console.jumpcloud.com

  3. Log in using your JumpCloud email and password

  4. Click on the mMR app in the Applications section

  5. You will then receive the following pop-up from the address bar:

    1. From the dropdown, make sure your microphone is selected (orange box)

    2. And then, click on Allow while visiting the site (red box)

If you cannot setup mic, reset settings using the following steps:

  1. If you see Mic Access Needed red button in mMR, please proceed to next steps

  2. On the address bar, click on the Site Permissions icon (orange box)

  3. Locate the Microphone section

  4. Turn on the Microphone toggle (red box). Once enabled, click on the Refresh icon on the Google Chrome toolbar to start using the mic.
