In-Person Visits

All team members who go out into the community, and those who manage team members who go out into the community, need to download the Guardian MPS App during orientation. This is a mandatory function of home visits. The Guardian MPS App tracks your location, offers check in/out features, monitors the length of home visits and calls to check in, and offers a panic button. Consult your Program Manager for lengthy drives to ensure an appropriate plan (Tennessee DCS may be an exception).

All mileage is tracked for reimbursement through Trip Log. Visit UKG for more information.

It is important to document both the visit and the travel when entering a case note. Use the following fields:

Engagement Method: In-Person

Intervention: Travel + other intervention(s) that apply (The total time of the interventions must match the total time of the engagement method
